Description
Awakens is a four session yoga tutorial that you can download and practice together with me in the comforts of your own home and at the convenience of your own scheduled time.
There are four parts, each session get slightly (just slightly) more challenging – so please practice at a pace that is challenging yet comfortable for you. When you have downloaded each video it is there for you to re-watch and practice with as many times as you wish until you feel ready to progress to the next session.
- Awaken 1
Awaken is a call to go within. To feel into each movement of muscles that helps us move our body optimally every day. Awakening our muscles and getting the neural pathways firing and wiring up with one another. - Awaken 2
The second video continues from the first encouraging more hardwiring of our muscles with the incorporation of some balancing postures. - Awaken 3
Moving on to a little more fun with functional ranges that we can create with movements. I encourage you to allow your body to explore these series with child-like playfulness with our movements. Maybe even awaken the child within ourselves and have fun moving and on our mat. - Awake 4
In our forth / last series, I would like to encourage more strengthening and seeing how we can surprise ourselves in taking on some retention in our range. Not only does it build stronger muscle-joint stability but it also builds endurance – both mentally and physically.
