I LOVE Instagram and I have to say a little addicted to it now. Facebook and I are kind of in an open relationship now. I mostly use it to browse and share eye opening videos from the internet that completely make me rethink our capability humanity. (I hope my friends don’t start thinking that I’m an introvert activist… I’m not really). I just do my bit and “share” these videos to pass on the gilt so I can clear my mind and feast my eyes on these Instagram Hotties!
A beautiful conversion of an old church with added home extension to compliment.
I’m not sure how people would take to someone moving into a Church back in the day, especially if you’re unmarried and moving in with your partner. I suppose this day, everything is for sale with no connotations attached.
With that, your limitations are endless. I like the idea of creating the extension and keeping the main living space pretty spacious and simple to appreciate the historical look and feel of what it used to be.
Are you dreaming of a brand spanking new kitted out kitchen to dance around when no one is looking.
Then you have to check out these lovely ladies.

When the kids are all grown up and my house is less likely to be royally trashed. This is something to look forward to. I believe in town and country homes. Town houses are somewhere you can live in for easy commuting back and forth from work or to be closer to friends. Country living is mainly about spending time at a quieter and slower pace with family and taking a breather from the hustle and bustle of the city and to get back to nature. The only question is where…
How is this for a gorgeous town house.
Although I’ve not had a proper night’s sleep in months and my home is starting to look like a Mother Care store with play-pens, changing tables and strollers all taken out of storage and set-up. I’m still hopeful that it’ll one day look like this.
I’m in love with this closet room with the middle island table with drawers. Getting dressed can be fun!
I wish I could get away with a bright pink front door like this with a large diamond door knob.
Another cool thing about this adult home is to have a bookshelf filled with design books nicely organized along with collected ornaments.
Swiftly snapping back to reality….
Time to get my delivery bag packed.
The countdown begins. It’s 25 days till Christmas. My Christmas tree is up, wrapping papers and ribbons all stocked up, I’m googling gingerbread recipes… What Have I Turned Into…?!? I blame it on being a mother celebrating for the first time where my son is actually old enough to enjoy it.
Back to the subject of baking, I can see myself doing lots of baking in this kitchen. I’m in love with the stone sink and counter tops. Glass windows bringing in natural light into the space… Sure it’ll be a nightmare to clean but that’s not the point.
Moving on from dream kitchens to dream bathrooms. How would this suit you?
And what about this to die for Laundry/Whatever room. I’ll never be behind with the washing… Promise!
I love looking at this corridor. First of all I love dark hardwood floors paired with a light rug and white walls. The matching wooden ceiling and lighting polishes up the walkway very nicely.
Refrigerator and microwave build in within the wall. Sweet!
old doors for cabinets and pantry cupboard… stunning!
Here you go some things I enjoyed looking at today.
We could use this chandelier in our living room or better still in our bedroom.
A cheery bright kitchen is the heart of a home. The lemons in the jar gives a great punch of color. I’m borrowing that idea.
I can’t seem to shake this cough and I’m going on holiday tomorrow for a week. Maybe that is what I need.
Whilst I’m excited thinking of what to pack for myself. I’m dreading thinking of what I need to bring my for 1year old.

Talk about Manic Mondays…
My son decided to stay up all night on Sunday and on Monday morning, my computer finally nosedived into the abyss. I had to zombie my way down to the apple store to see if there’s any hope in trying to salvage any bit of memory on my computer.
Good news is that I’m partially rested, and I have a brand spanking new computer all set-up and ready. What an expensive start to the week. Finger’s crossed that today will be a lot smoother.
In honor to my son’s new sleeping habit, here’s something that I’m drooling over right now. BEDS!!!
I love this garden access from the bedroom.
Doesn’t this make you want to just crawl back into bed….
This is gorgeous yet extremely simple. Wooden pannled ceiling and floorboards gives warmth without much decorating needed. Just a gorgeous comfy bed, simple rug and nightstand… what else do you need!
There’s a few “Must-Haves” for my dream house and that is
1) French Doors!
These ones in this kitchen out to the back garden is absolutely gorgeous.
Hope it’ll withstand the elements.. That’s OK, it’ll be in the south of France.
Doors aside, I’m truly loving the center kitchen isle come breakfast table. Old recycled wooden table with adorable benches to boot!
My #2 must-haves is
2) Out of this World Lighting
3) Outdoor Garden Dining
4) An Office / Library
This is a very fundamental part of my home as it’s somewhere I can switch modes and focus on work without distractions. I still need to put some thought into this room as I’m pondering between these two looks. Something bright or somewhere more serious.
Which would go better with a tan leather Chesterfield?
5) Une Très Chic Powder Room
A luxurious powder room for guests with dramatic accents.
…. to be continued
On my second cuppa this morning and quickly running though my favorite blogs and tweets. Here are a few articles of interest to share.
Here is an article on Tyler Hays’s of his self-grown small business turned to golden success.
I also enjoyed reading Live Creating Yourself’s Blog on her visit to New York and the stores she visited. Made me miss NY the casual weekends my husband and I used to spend doing just that!
This is one way to display all your seashell collection in your cute little beach home bathroom.
I’m not a fan or wall paper but somehow I am liking this candy floss pink wallpaper with the offset color cushions with similar patterns. The build it white carved closets also fit in very charmingly to the room.
These chic offices are gorgeous in both themes; Dark and Serious vs Light and Easy. Which one relates more to you?
This is one color I could never bring myself to use in my own home but I am so impressed that someone has. Loving the fact that someone recognizes the beauty of colors and uses them in this carefree manner. Impressive!
Doesn’t this room ooze sexiness. Its dark tones and black curtains shows off an unique richness in style.
I think a chandelier lid room is the necklace to an elegant outfit.
Enjoy your Tuesday!
Its 7.30pm, Devon is FINALLY asleep, I sneaked a quick shower earlier on so now I’ve a glass of nicely chilled white and a couple of spring rolls to tie me over till dinner.
I’ve been looking forward to tonight with friends since yesterday after a week that just literally flew by and of course to know that we’re going to Bedrock. We love it there, it’s one of our favorite steak restaurants.
Of course my day is never complete after my dose of interiors.
Talk about room with a view!
First of all.. Love the faux fur throws and the earthy tones of the first room. I’m a total minimalist and its so practical that it works!
The blue office chair… LOVE IT!!
Might be dangerous having an office like that… I might never leave!
I’ve always wanted to own an inspiration board.. I don’t have the room for it, so I’ve resorted to an Inspiration Book instead.
Love these cream colored walls. It just brings a comfortable coolness to a room.
I’ve recently been going over lots of images and reading one guest review after another on hotels and B&Bs in Italy. Some of the images are awe-inspiring. Looking at the old rustic Tuscan architecture and the interiors so raw and simple.
When you have rich history and stunning views, you don’t really need much but the basics that would compliment the natural originality of your environment.
I love a room that is naturally bright and open during the day but and can also be transformed to an ambient that’s soothing and romantic at night.
Cindy Crawford seems to have it here. Stone fireplace would set the mood at night without a doubt and those full length windows lets the light flood though keeping the feel cosy with the soft rug and cream full length curtains.
I am also a fan or simple colored bed linen with an accented bed runner.
This is a unique side of a huge celebrity.
Nothing complicated, just clean, white and crisp.
Accented that with a few colorful accessories it makes this room very (dare I say) low maintenance like a beach house.
Now, I’m a huge fan or Ralph Lauren.
I love everything about him, his name, clothes, his gorgeous line of bedlinen…
Naturally I’m in awe with his bedroom. From the view, the bamboo blinds, rattan furniture and soft breezy curtains over the four-poster and especially the plants that makes this space tropical and effortless.
Ideally the leather lounge chair would compliment an office with a floor to ceiling bookshelf filled with old leather bound books and next to it, a big wooden desk, a gorgeous dark Persian rug and of course stashed in the corner, a collection of the world’s best whiskey and hand rolled cigars.
If you need to find me, I’ll be in my office reading….
…or if I’m not there, I’ll be in the living room lounging on this large and gorgeous sofa propped up by those lush cushions having tea and enjoying the view outside my veranda.
